Paste Paper
If you look closely at the pictures of the studio workspace, you will see one of my artistic passions in life, Paste Paper. When you come to take a workshop, you will leave with the recipes, a starter kit of tools, and learned skills to create this fun, surface designed, painted paper...it's like finger painting for adults. Here's my little bit of show and tell.

Historic Downtown Rockland, Maine
The Art Incubator is located above Mace's (website is currently under construction) at 367 Main Street, Rockland, Maine, in the heart of the Historic Downtown. Lyn Snow Gallery is on the left and Dowling Walsh Gallery is on the right.
We are directly across the street from the Farnsworth Art Museum

This picture was taken before the Robert Indiana installation and the jazzy white awnings.
Here's the view to Harbor Square Gallery and the Island Institute on the opposite corner.
There's so much to see and do...I'll be sharing friends and favorites as we go along...after all, we have been here for over 29 years!

New Year
Welcome to The Art Incubator Blog, designed to inform, inspire and connect creative spirits to develop a community of artists. With the help of my friends, this forum will serve as a learning and teaching platform to share ideas, experiments and wonder. This is my first attempt at using Blogger, and my teacher has given me the tools to get started...Let's see what we can do together.
This is an image of the physical space that The Art Incubator occupies. Over 800 square feet of workspace, kitchen, bath and relaxing room to explore, discover and acquire artistic skills.
More pictures to give you a feel of this wonderful space...
Just imagine the inspired art that could be discovered here.
